A timeline of a project’s planned milestones — used to set expectations and give the community goals to rally around.
A roadmap lays out what a project plans to do and roughly when: launch, listings, community milestones, marketing pushes, product features. For memecoins, roadmaps double as marketing — visible momentum and milestone "unlocks" keep a community engaged.
Memecoin roadmaps are often intentionally meme-flavored (e.g., "Phase 1: Launch, Phase 2: ???, Phase 3: Moon"), but the best ones still commit to concrete, checkable deliverables that build credibility.
A roadmap with vague, never-shipping promises erodes trust; one that consistently delivers small wins compounds it.
